      Hey Community

On this Link you can see at 6;23 - 6:26 an owngoalsync.
the referee decided to make this goal invalid.
Imo it was invalid too but i heard from some people that is our "own" fault.

The way I see it, it depends on the kind of goal it is... Like everything. Under these situations subjectivity is a given.

Say you are attacking and you get the ball synced with your teammate and said ball goes straight to your goal at 257km/second. Obviously that one is going to be invalid. However this goal I would say it is valid, and no other reason for me to believe that other than just for the way it happened: in front of the goal, a relatively slow ball, no direct opponents coming at seven hundred kilometres per second, you were going to clear it and bum, a wild Bambi Drogba comes around and tries to clear it at full speed - resulting in a sync. Again, in front of the goal. When you had the ball already with you.

That is the way I see it. This specific goal from what I think would be valid. Another kind of own goal would not be valid.

So... I don't know what to vote?

I dont know Kath, i cant agree with u because not me and not Drogba would score an owngoal.
I could understand if drogba would come infront of me and we sync each other an own.
but like this ? we both was going to clear the ball from same side to same direction and the ball goes wild in all directions.
this situation wasnt even dangerous that u can say ok burak would score it anyway or someshit.

I mean just for example Ivo, Race and some other.

They vote against Kalamir because its "bugusing"
but now they vote for another bug? for a real bug?
      i cant follow this logic

if you watch it again , carefully, you can clearly see the ball stands right between you and drogba so there is NO WAY it wont result in an own goal.

Anyways i totally agree with kath , this rule has to be flexible and its flexibility must come from the common sense and basic physics knowledge of the ref and the players.
Let's just think with our minds for a second and avoid all that common stuff being said over and over again just because that's what people want to hear.. This type of goals should be considered as valid as it is the result of a misunderstanding between two team members, next time be aware that there is already one to interrupt the way of the ball and not just run to each ball being shot on target, there is a gk that inteferes and jumps in such cases and that's exactly what happened with drogba and jason.. Be more tactical and let others do their jobs, it's ur bad, accept the consequences of ur own actions. As a gk, this makes me mad as well, i'd love to make it invalid and vote against it but in order to make carball a place where ' the let ' concept can prosper, this kind of goals due to sync shouldn't get uncounted.
Soccer? Don't you mean Football?
A flexible rule would be best tho, agree in this. Invalid when it goes into a completly different direction and valid if someone failed and might have scored and own 50 50. That would also be fair again as this vote like every other recently :bitchplease: is again around 50 50 xD Like someone said in another post (think it was fab?) the ref need to be experienced and then he will know what to do. At the end we also got var if its really difficult.

      Debatable situation.
I'd say leave it up to the ref. He can make a good or bad decision no matter who or how you look at it, but a refs word should be final...
just like in real homoball, ehh sry football.

I dont know how we can find a compromiss.
We also found a compromiss for Kalamir.

      So someone got an Idea?
like barba said if the sync is going wild in different directions invalid
if the ownsync is a speed up sync or a logical sync valid

I completly agree that not all owngoal-syncs are invalid.
but also not all owngoal-syncs shouldnt be valid.

another Idea ? just let the ref decide?

Post was edited 1 time, last by “ANALyse” ().

Ye please do an official guideline/rules for sync goals etc (like if the ball really speeds up and is unsaveable), because im also getting tired of giving free's for every little shit.
Sync's happen and will always happen (even if it looks like a sync but it was a block), rams happens, a little lag happens, race is faster than everyone and if 6 players run into the ball its normal that the ball flies in any kind of direction.
its part of the game, this is cb and not golf.

So ye as ive said 1 point would/could be "if the ball really speeds up and is unsaveable" is invalid, and the rest of such complications (like the jason+drog own goal) should be the refs decision, though imo it should be valid goal, but ye.

So I think it should be valid in real football it counts too
There was also a Carball tournament at Prose and there was also an owner and the referee said it is valid
